We will be holding a pottery exhibition by Ueda Takayuki, a ceramic artist based in Otaru, Hokkaido, at San no Kura on the second floor of UNGAPLUS.

Ueda specializes in using Hokkaido soil and wood ash glazes, creating eye-catching pieces with beautiful colors born from nature. Ueda's pieces have an impressive texture that lets you feel the texture of the soil, and a moist glaze surface made from wood ash. The appearance of glaze pools, which is unique to handmade items, is also attractive.

This exhibition will feature tableware that is suitable for everyday dining, such as rice bowls, plates, and mugs.
