[Pottery shop Soei profile]
In 2021, she began creating art in Sapporo. She gradually became attracted to the philosophy of folk art, and is currently particularly interested in slipware. Her style is not bound by the boundaries of shape, color, or technique, and each piece is decorated with free and unrestrained lines of decorative clay that are born from a natural rhythm. She creates with the hope that her pieces will be simple objects that can be used casually in everyday life and that soothe the soul every time they are picked up.
