Otaru Canal Lucky Manju (steamed bun)

These brown sugar buns are made by kneading plenty of honey and domestically produced brown sugar into the dough, then wrapping them around a paste of Hokkaido-grown red beans that have been carefully peeled one by one and steaming them.
The charm of the "Kaiun Manju" is its gentle sweetness without any bitterness, and we deliver it from Otaru with the wish for good fortune.

The UNGAPLUS trademark features a design of a Kitamae-bune ship as a treasure ship with the Seven Lucky Gods aboard, and a mark representing the Otaru Warehouse's trade name, "Shipping x Good Fortune." The design incorporates the palindrome that accompanies the treasure ship, and is imbued with the wish for "good fortune from Otaru, the city of shipping."
