Yoshikawa x UNGAPLUS

"Karamatsu no Mori CANDLE" was created in collaboration with Otaru-based candle artist Chizuru Kaneda of Yoshikawa. The snowy scenery of Hokkaido is expressed in a transparent gel candle.

Because larch trees are resistant to cold and grow quickly, they have been planted in large numbers in the mountains of Hokkaido since the Meiji period. They were also planted around Mount Tengu in the northern part of Otaru, and their straight, shaped trees create a beautiful landscape in Otaru.

"Larch Forest" stands in the snowy landscape. The pure image of the trees with their white branches stretching out against the clear sky is captured in this candle.
