Tanuma Glass Studio × UNGAPLUS

Otaru Glass Mall Glass was created in collaboration with Otaru-based Tanuma Glass Studio. Tanuma Glass Studio honed its glassmaking techniques in Toyama, where glass-themed urban development is underway, and has established a workshop in Otaru. Mall Glass is made with a process in place to prevent impurities from being introduced, even from the glass melting stage, and is created with the aim of capturing the beauty of glass. There are two types, "Flower" and "Chrysanthemum," which express the different expressions of the mall.

This is "Flower," a beautifully designed glass with a floral pattern on the bottom created by vertical lines.

【chrysanthemum】
This is "Chrysanthemum." Fine lines are applied to the sides, and chrysanthemum petals appear on the bottom. This glass is impressive with its beautiful lines that resemble the beauty of nature's creations. The vertical lines and the unevenness of the thick glass create shadows, and the appearance that catches the light is an attractive feature of this mall glass.
