OTARU WORKER WEAR|NAKASHI
During the heyday of Otaru Port, the area around the canal was filled with many stevedores handling cargo. A stevedore is a port worker. Those who loaded and unloaded cargo between ships anchored offshore and barges were called offshore stevedores, those who transported cargo from the barges to warehouses by barge were called land stevedores, and those who loaded cargo in the warehouses were called warehouse stevedores. When cargo arrived at the port, it was transferred from large ships anchored offshore to barges, then towed by tugboats through the canal to Funairima, where it was transported from the barges to the warehouses. At the time, there must have been many stevedores working at the old Otaru Warehouse, which was right in front of Funairima. UNGAPLUS was inspired by the work uniforms worn by stevedores who traveled between barges and warehouses, and created original clothing made in Otaru.

Denim Line
We use denim from Okayama Prefecture, a denim production area, and pursue a casual, adult look with a simple design.
This vest is made from rigid denim (unprocessed) and given a one-wash finish. It has just the right amount of stretch, allowing you to enjoy the natural aging of denim.
Both the denim apron vest and denim hanten jacket are available with two stitching colors to choose from.

The more you wear it, the softer and more textured this denim becomes. It gradually becomes more comfortable to wear. You can choose from two stitching colors.

[light hanten jacket&pants]
Using finely woven cotton, we have created a simple and light "hanten" style.
Made from 100% cotton typewriter fabric, it has a fluffy texture and a natural wrinkled finish that looks like it has been washed.

There are three original colors available. The jacket and pants are versatile and comfortable, making them perfect for both work and everyday wear.

[hanten jacket]
This jacket is warm and padded, with short sleeves for ease of movement. Made with finely woven cotton, it has a simple design for a casual, grown-up look.

[apron vest]
The apron vest is designed with inspiration from a traditional belly wrap. It is padded and features a large pocket on the abdomen.

There are three original colors available.

[down coat]
This "down coat" combines high functionality as cold weather clothing. The design was also inspired by the "hanten" (short coat). The soft, brushed fabric with a moderate horizontal ridge of tussah weave is treated with a high-performance Teflon coating, giving it the shape of a long hanten. It's a delightful piece that combines lightness and warmth.

The outer material is Teflon-coated, making it water-repellent, oil-repellent, stain-resistant, and durable. It features hidden dot buttons for a clean design.

There are two sizes and four original colors available.

The items come in two colors, camel and blue. The lineup is reminiscent of indigo and persimmon tannins, which have long been used to dye cotton. They have a nostalgic, clean design, yet are full of emotion.
