From the mid-Edo period to the Meiji era, the Kitamae-bune (North Sea Ship) connected the shipping route between Osaka and Hokkaido, transporting all kinds of goods and culture, and contributing to the development of Hokkaido. "Kitamae Route Otaru Sea Delights" is a series that evokes memories and history of the city that flourished through the trade of the Kitamae-bune, and delivers the seafood that was transported from Otaru to the Kinki region.
