Teruaki Sotosa - Solo Exhibition: "Striking the Noh Mask"

2024.6.29 (Sat) - 7.7 (Sun) 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
This exhibition focuses on the Noh culture inherited in the two places of "Sado" and "Otaru," which were ports of call for the Kitamaebune (North Sea ships). It features the work of Teruaki Sotodera, a Noh mask artist who was drawn to the Noh stage built in Otaru and decided to move there. Please enjoy the Noh culture rooted in Otaru through the work of the mask-maker, who is dedicated to creating faithful copies. Co-sponsored by: UNGA ↑ Cooperation: Otaru City Public Hall, The Society for Revitalizing the Former Okasaki Residence Noh Stage, Sadamasa Komaki (Advisor, Hokkaido National College of Vocational Training), Kimimichi Sisa, En Yamada, Aoi Sato
