She studied pottery under potter Shinobu Hashimoto and has been based in Sapporo since 2014. In addition to simple white-glazed and matte-textured vessels with a pleasant touch, the artist creates works with diverse expressions, including vessels with eye-catching marble patterns created by melting iron powder contained in the clay with heat. I approach pottery with a unique worldview that connects the world of reality with the world of imagination, and I create pieces that I hope will bring a sense of richness to daily life, allowing people to enjoy using them.
