The Kitamae ships sailed across the Sea of ​​Japan, transporting goods and culture. Otaru also brought a wealth of seafood with it. The "Otaru Delicious Snacks" series is a concentrated version of the delicious flavors of Hokkaido's bountiful seafood, inspired by the memories and history of the city that prospered through trade on the Kitamae ships.
