KIM GLASS DESIGN × UNGAPLUS

We asked KIM GLASS DESIGN, which has a workshop on the seafront in Shukutsu, Otaru, to create an original glass for UNGAPLUS. The history of glass in Otaru began with everyday items such as storage containers for daily necessities, oil lamps, and floats for fishing. While the demand for glass products has decreased over time, they have evolved from practical items to design items, remaining deeply rooted in Otaru's culture.

This glass is designed to resemble the sails of Kitamae-bune ships sailing across the sea. It comes in two designs: white and striped.

The simple shape brings out the charm of the transparent glass, and the moderate thickness makes it feel stable in the hand. The sparkle increases with the drink poured into it, allowing you to enjoy the expression of the light shining through it.
