In recent years, Irifune Market, Temiya Market, and Myoken Market have all disappeared one after another. Hoping to preserve Otaru's market culture forever, Sasaki Co., Ltd., a tent factory founded in 1945, has combined its long-cultivated sewing techniques with UNGAPLUS' passion for markets to create the ICHIBA TOTE. Grab your ICHIBA TOTE, made from durable tarpaulin fabric used for tents and other outdoor construction, and head to the market! 
The ICHIBA TOTE makes shopping at the market even more fun. Its easy-to-use shape is now available in a smaller "mini" size. Made from durable, water-resistant tarpaulin fabric, the same material used in tents, with a large opening and deep gusset for easy access, and spacious interior pockets, it's the perfect size for a stroll, picnic, or commute. It's a great accent piece for any outfit. 
Kono from Liaison creates accessories using Sapporo soft stone. This mini size is just right for a quick outing. 
The fabric used this time is "tarpaulin." Originally, it was made from canvas coated with tar to make it waterproof, and was used for sailors' jackets and waterproof sheets on ships. Today, the term refers to a composite sheet made of fiber cloth sandwiched between soft synthetic resin film. It is a very durable material that is strong and resistant to wind and dirt, and is used for sheets at construction sites, agricultural and livestock greenhouses, outdoor display banners, temporary tents, and more. 
It has an inner pocket for storing your wallet, keys, etc. It features a silkscreen logo of Sasaki Co., Ltd. and UNGAPLUS.
Sasaki Co., Ltd. was founded in 1945. In the year the war ended, Rikubei Sasaki raised the sign for "Sasaki Sewing Factory" in Otaru and started a sewing business, mainly working with canvas. While materials, equipment, and the environment have changed rapidly over the years, the temperament and skills of the craftsmen have been passed down unchanged to this day at this tent factory.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Please note that we cannot accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, changes to your order details, or modifications to your order for customer convenience after the order has been completed.
If, in the unlikely event, the delivered item is defective, please contact us via the inquiry form within 7 days of receiving the item.
In the case of a defective item, we will cover the shipping costs associated with the return.
