We deliver delicious, Otaru-made sweets in packaging that expresses the history and nature of Otaru. This small gift set includes two popular baked goods and candy. 
Wakasa tiles were used for the tiled roofs that can still be seen in the city of Otaru today. These tiles were not only used as a commodity, but were also loaded onto the bottoms of Kitamae-bune ships to prevent ships from capsizing and to balance the center of gravity. In Otaru at the time, where fires were frequent, warehouses and wealthy shops competed to use these tiles. The appearance of these stacked tiles is expressed in "Kawara-yaki Baumkuchen" with the overlapping layers of Baumkuchen and the crispy texture of caramel.
The former Otaru branch of Nippon Yusen Kaisha has a luxurious appearance that hints at the prosperity of Otaru during the Meiji period. The packaging features the "Kinkarakawashi" (golden leather paper) that was used as wallpaper in the VIP room of the building. This traditional French pastry (Galette Bretonne) has a crispy, melt-in-your-mouth texture and is gently sweetened with honey. 
These small, easy-to-eat candy apples have a sweet and sour, nostalgic taste that fills your mouth. This long-established candy shop moved to Otaru from Toyama Prefecture in the early Meiji period, bringing with it the techniques of candy making. Enjoy the traditional, handmade taste.

In principle, all items in your order will be wrapped together as one package; however, depending on the size or quantity, items may be divided into two or more packages. Fragile items such as mugs will be wrapped individually.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Please note that we cannot accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, changes to your order details, or modifications to your order for customer convenience after the order has been completed.
If, in the unlikely event, the delivered item is defective, please contact us via the inquiry form within 7 days of receiving the item.
In the case of a defective item, we will cover the shipping costs associated with the return.
