Otaru Tile Baumkuchen
Many of the tiled roofs seen in the city of Otaru are made from Wakasa tiles that were brought over by Kitamae-bune ships. This Baumkuchen features the stacked tiles resembling the overlapping layers of a baumkuchen, with a crispy caramel texture. Otaru Honey Galette

These Monaka chocolates are made with traditionally baked 100% glutinous rice mochi shells filled with three types of chocolate and rice puffs. The mochi shells come in two sets, one on the left and one on the right, in one package. These are matchmaking sweets from Otaru, perfect for conveying your desire to meet someone special.

UNGAPLUS original postcard
A postcard of the "Old Otaru Warehouse," where UNGAPLUS is located. Construction of the Old Otaru Warehouse began in 1890, and management was later transferred to Yamamoto Kyuemon, a Kitamae ship owner from Matsumae who saw the future potential of Otaru. In 1893, it became Otaru Warehouse Co., Ltd., the first commercial warehouse in Hokkaido with a modern logistics system. It consists of three buildings that have been expanded over time, with soft stone warehouses lined up on either side of the central brick building, creating a symmetrical landscape in northern Otaru.
