This is the "Blue Pigeon" tenugui from "aobato," an Otaru-based company that produces hand-dyed tenugui and fabrics using silkscreen printing. Based on the concept of scenes likened to the perspective of the blue pigeon, a bird that visits the sea around Otaru, the designs tell small stories while imagining the everyday scenes and changes in nature that are reflected through the eyes of the bird. 
This is the "Green Dove," which is also the origin of the brand name. The design depicts a scene of a green dove, designated as the bird of Otaru, spreading its wings and splashing with waves. 
100% cotton tenugui are quick-drying and can be used for a variety of purposes, including wiping dishes, wrapping things in a wrapping cloth, and their beautiful designs can even be used as interior décor. 
We have three designs available in our shop: "Glass," "Green Pigeon," and "Lighthouse." Please take a look at them all. 
Each and every aobato tenugui is handcrafted, a tool for everyday life that brings a warmth to your daily life.
This textile brand was created by printer Kazunari Kosuge and designer Nana Iwamoto. Likened to the perspective of the Otaru bird "Aobato," each hand towel is hand-dyed with silkscreen printing to depict Hokkaido scenery that the bird passes by in its daily life and encounters in the future. We hope that these hand towels will be used with love as "tools" that are comfortable to use, and that they will be passed down to future generations.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Please note that we cannot accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, changes to your order details, or modifications to your order for customer convenience after the order has been completed.
If, in the unlikely event, the delivered item is defective, please contact us via the inquiry form within 7 days of receiving the item.
In the case of a defective item, we will cover the shipping costs associated with the return.
