Founded in 1916 in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, Nousaku is a traditional casting town that has developed tin products using techniques honed through casting. This sake cup makes use of tin's high thermal conductivity. 
This sake cup is made by casting, where heated and molten metal is poured into a mold. Its beautiful silver-white color is eye-catching. 
Since ancient times, tin has been used for sake and tea utensils, as it is said that "water stored in a tin vessel will not spoil" and "it removes the unpleasant taste from sake, making it mellow." Tin also has antibacterial properties, so it can be used safely as tableware.

Takaoka has a history dating back over 400 years, dating back to the Edo period. Nousaku was founded in this traditional town of casting as a factory manufacturing Buddhist altar fittings. Since then, for over 100 years, we have continued to pursue manufacturing that meets the needs of our customers, while transforming our production system and expanding our business scope and range. With a proactive and bold attitude that is not bound by preconceived notions, we continue to blend our inherited techniques with a sensibility that reflects the times, and to chart new paths in the casting industry.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Please note that we cannot accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, changes to your order details, or modifications to your order for customer convenience after the order has been completed.
If, in the unlikely event, the delivered item is defective, please contact us via the inquiry form within 7 days of receiving the item.
In the case of a defective item, we will cover the shipping costs associated with the return.
