"Kukiru" was born in collaboration with Mariko Doi, a Sapporo-based potter who draws inspiration from nature and creates free-spirited pottery. This beautiful blue vessel is an eye-catching creation based on the theme of "crowds," which herald the arrival of spring in Otaru.
This is a piece of pottery that beautifully recreates the beautiful scenery created by nature.It is a square plate like an objet d'art that creates a landscape in your daily life. 
The "kukiru" series expresses the beautiful scene of the blue sea turning white in ceramics. In addition to square plates, we also have mugs, milk pitchers, and flower vases. Please take a look at them all. 
[Mariko Doi]
Based in Sapporo, she creates her pieces with the keywords "glamour, fun, beauty and kindness." Inspired by the ever-changing nature of wind, water and growing trees, she always uses free-thinking ideas to create pieces that add a touch of glamour to the lives of those who use them. By using semi-porcelain clay, the glaze's colour shines brightly, while the clay is as smooth and white as porcelain clay, and is as easy to handle as ceramic clay, allowing for thin forms on the potter's wheel, which makes for a pleasant texture.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Please note that we cannot accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, changes to your order details, or modifications to your order for customer convenience after the order has been completed.
If, in the unlikely event, the delivered item is defective, please contact us via the inquiry form within 7 days of receiving the item.
In the case of a defective item, we will cover the shipping costs associated with the return.
