Sights to see and places of good fortune in Otaru.

vivre sa vie+mi-yu Vivre sa vie+mi-yu is a lifestyle goods store in the former Hayakawa branch (Otaru City designated historical building No. 15), a historical building that used to be a stationery wholesale store. "vivre sa vie" means "live as you like" or "enjoy life" in French.

Inside the store with a lovely atmosphere, you will find a selection of products from Japan and abroad, including stationery, cutlery, bags, accessories, socks, and fragrances, as well as works by artists from Otaru and the Sapporo area.

The atmosphere of the building and the tastefully selected goods softly mingle with each other, creating an ambience that makes the time passing slowly at "vivre sa vie+mi-yuyu" very pleasant.

Otaru Department Store UNGA↑

Original products that convey the attractions of Otaru are developed and sold in a storefront converted from the former Otaru warehouse headquarters, which is said to be the oldest business warehouse in Hokkaido, located in the Otaru North Canal area. The shop tells the story of Otaru's prosperity in the pioneering days of Hokkaido and the history of the Kitamaebune, and displays and sells processed seafood and agricultural products from the port of call and Hokkaido, as well as original products by craftsmen and artists associated with Otaru.
