"What is this?" I found while walking around Otaru
The former Hayakawa Branch, located near the northwest side of the Otaru City Museum Canal Hall, is an authentic historical building that includes the storefront facing Ironai Avenue, the wooden residential area in the middle, and the stone storehouse on the right.
In 1986, it was designated as Otaru City's Historic Building No. 15.

It was built in 1904, so it will be 120 years old in just 3 or 4 years.
My favorite is Otaru Laughing 100 Views... but there's not a trace of that strange, funny element of "Hey, what's wrong? lol."
I thought that at the very least we could give the wooden housing section a nickname to add some familiarity to it.

Every time I pass by here, people call out to me, "Kin-san Gin-san."
It is a very sophisticated wooden building with beautiful details. It has a sense of dignity and is a favorite of Shohyakkei.
Nickname: Kin-san and Gin-san
