"What is this?" I found while walking around Otaru

Hmm... that's kind of cool.

This street, or wall, or tin roof.

I wonder why this area is the only one with a row of buildings with rusty tin walls.

Apparently, for some reason, tin walls were popular in this area in the past.

...That's not the case.

I have decided to call this place "Totan 1-chome" (I apologize if I am rude, as I do not know the historical background of this place).
