"What is this?" I found while walking around Otaru
There are so many ivy houses in Otaru.
I never imagined there would be so many. Perhaps it's a characteristic of port towns like Yokohama and Kobe. This is one of the things that surprised me about Otaru.
to this point…
From what I can see, I think there are three levels to the Tsuta House.
1. The stage where it's just growing in some places... there are quite a few of them.
2. The stage where the whole surface is covered... sometimes
3. The stage where your whole body is covered in it... It's very rare.

This is similar to how you grow a beard
1. Under the nose stage... there are quite a few
2. The beard stage… I see them sometimes.
3. The face-covering stage…very rare.

There are many other things about Otaru that interest me, so I don't have much time to research ivy, but I will continue to work hard on my research into the "Ivy House." Thank you for your continued support.
…and here I discovered a building that has cut off the “covered” aspect just before it became a reality and turned it to its advantage. I plan to interview the owner soon.
The title of the article is "How I cut off the ivy. This is how I managed to escape from the clutches of the ivy." Please look forward to it! (^^♪lol
