"What is this?" I found while walking around Otaru
When I came across it, I thought it was the second house in Otaru that belonged to the "Usu Usu" style, which is rare in Hokkaido, a land area with so much land, and I thought, "Yes! I've found it!"

However, when you look at it from a different angle, you can immediately see that it is a different and unusual style. This building is a close relative of the Usu Usu style, the Usu Sankaku style.

In Honshu, where land is limited, you can occasionally see "Sankaku-ha" buildings in Y-shaped alleys, but "Ususankaku-ha" buildings are highly prized as rare buildings. We were able to find a "Ususankaku-ha" building, which is rare nationwide, here in Otaru.
Commonly known as: Triangle Cheese 1/2

This building is famous locally, I think.
