Otaru 100 Scenes vol.45

"What is this?" I found while walking around Otaru

From the divine realm... A gift to the North Canal. The moment I saw it... I couldn't believe my eyes.

I looked at it two or three times, and there is no doubt that what is depicted there is the Forest Spirit from Studio Ghibli's "Princess Mononoke."

The face, especially the eyes, the spines on the back, the length of the hind legs, etc. are all exactly the same. I was so surprised when I discovered it. It looked just like the original, down to the smallest details. Shishi Shutter But this is rust that has naturally surfaced over time. I think it's just me who wants to believe this, and that it might not look that way to other people at all... So I'd like to leave it up to all of you here who support the Kita Tota Association to decide whether this is truly the incarnation of the "Boar God" or not, lol.

If the number of "likes" exceeds 30, we will officially recognize this Shishi God as the incarnation of God... and the 6th Kita Canal Totanista, "Shishi Shutter." Please don't say rude things like "30 is too few..." lol.

Your judgement is much appreciated...
