Ebisu Shrine in Shukunai, Otaru, was founded in 1856 and is known for being revered by the three major fishing magnates of Shukunai.

Currently, the main hall housed within the covering structure is designated as a historical building (No. 58) by Otaru City. Located on a hill overlooking the Shukunai coast, its grounds offer beautiful views of the Otaru sea. The two votive ship paintings dedicated inside the worship hall are recognized as constituent cultural properties of the "Kitamaebune" Japan Heritage. Additionally, within the shrine grounds are sacred mulberry and Japanese yew trees, designated as preserved trees by Otaru City.

The enshrined deity is Yaekotoshiro-nushi-no-Okami, considered a child of Okuninushi-no-Kami and sometimes identified with Ebisu-sama. This deity is revered as the god of the sea, commerce, and oracle, and is said to grant blessings for "business prosperity, good fortune, warding off evil, recovery from illness, safety at sea, and safe travels."
