"Sasaki Sewing Factory" was founded in 1945, the year the war ended. They manufacture and sell bags and small items made from canvas, originally used as ship sails.

In an era before chemical products, canvas was the most durable fabric and was ubiquitous in daily life, used for truck covers, freight train seats, tents, and countless other applications. However, with the advent of synthetic fibers, the demand for canvas gradually decreased over time.

To reaffirm the quality of canvas, Sasaki Sewing Factory reevaluated everything from materials and parts to design. They leverage the unchanging craftsmanship and techniques passed down through generations to create canvas products meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, suitable for the modern era.
